3 Missing Mass. Kids Found Miles Away From Home In Jamaica Plain: Police

Three missing children from Stoughton were found safe in Boston’s Jamaica Plain neighborhood after state and local police brought on an aggressive campaign to locate them.

Stoughton Police sent out a statewide bulletin Friday, night, Nov. 22, that said Ashley Vazquez, 29, had taken her three children — ages 10, 9, and 8, authorities said. Officers were looking for her gray 2023 Toyota RAV4.

Investigators used geolocation technology to track the vehicle, ultimately leading to the safe recovery of the children around 10:30 p.m.

The case remains under investigation. Police did not say if the children sustained any injuries in their brief flight from police.
